We host CCW classes every month for El Dorado, Amador, Placer, and Sacramento County residents including out-of-state California licenses and multi-state certification. Range dates and class sessions vary.
We also offer these additional courses:
- Intro to Basic Pistol Shooting — 4 hours (perfect for beginners or pre-CCW prep)
- NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home — 1 day (4 hr classroom + 4 hr range)
Holidays we are closed: Memorial Weekend – Friday to Monday, July Fourth, Labor Day Weekend – Friday to Monday, Thanksgiving Eve & Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Week, New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day
What to Expect
Real training. No fluff. Practical, safe, and skill-based.
Our CCW certification course meets California state and county requirements while going far beyond the basics. You’ll gain confidence, legal clarity, and critical real-world context. This class teaches mindset, legal use of force, safe firearm handling, and defensive strategy, all reinforced with live-fire range training.
If you’re new to handguns, we highly recommend starting with the Intro to Basic Pistol Shooting class. It’s designed to help you feel fully comfortable and capable before jumping into CCW-level scenarios.
Looking for deeper skills? The NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home course provides scenario-based training to help you respond to real threats. It’s hands-on, thorough, and intentionally challenging with drills that build from simple to complex.
